Miniature Viewpoint of the Snow

Dollhouse shovels aren't just for dolls!
Mr. Birdie found it very useful! HA!

Mrs. Renwal helped the birdies! Now her back is aching so!

She did a great job!

RARE Arcade Dollhouse 1928…thanks Cindy!

Cindy and her husband were going through Joplin, MO
and sent me these fabulous photos of this ARCADE
dollhouse from 1928! It is said to be the only one of it's
kind to have survived! IMAGINE! You
can read more on the plaque above.
THANKS CINDY!

P.S. Since posting this I have found there are still some of
these dollhouses.
They are noted in Dian Zillner's reference books!

Metal Windows for T COHN on eBay

One of our members, Carol, is selling these rare metal
windows to a TCOHN dollhouse if anyone needs any.

Tootsietoy Dining Room Accessories

In the late 1930's when sales of the Tootsietoy furniture started
to slip the company started to add small accessories to
the boxed furniture. Dian Zillner wrote this info in her book
Dollhouses and Furniture Advertising 1880's-1980's .
On page 22 she has a copy of the ad that shows the boxed
sets and the accessories. The pieces above were part of the
accessories  that came with the dining room sets. Thanks to
Roy Specht for the use of his photo showing the dining
room set. I am searching for photos of the other boxed sets.
If anyone ever sees any of them please do send me a
link or photo! I would appreciate it!
(PS See the other post for more accessory photos!)
