Newest Miniature Art Quilts Coming...

By the Light of the Silvery Moon-
Lots of stitching on this one with silver and blue thread
which does not show up much on the photo.
The moon setting over the ocean is always a beautiful sight!

A River Runs Through It-
Inspired by what is said to be a magical valley
through West Arlington, Vermont. The Battenkill River
runs through the valley and crosses into New York State.

Lovely Kage Sofa

I rarely get Kage fabric covered pieces but I never get the sofas!
Love this one!

Deer at Willow Pond- Miniature Art Quilt #11

I think Mary challenged me to include a deer in one
of my mini art quilts and so I tried! Seeing this piece is 3" x 4"
you can imagine how tiny this deer is. Well I hope it looks like one!

Rare MARX Bomb Shelter Cot!

Many of you know that MARX made a tin dollhouse that had a Bomb Shelter
where the garage was. It is a rare dollhouse to find and fortunately I got a
group of items that someone had dug up at the old MARX factory dump.
This cot came with it which is from the original Bomb Shelter dollhouse.
The radio was with it as well and although I can not identify it as a Bomb Shelter
accessory it seems that it would go with it. The wall litho in the shelter
has a similar radio. For those of you with the Bomb Shelter dollhouse
I am listing this tonight 6/23/13 on eBay.
I wish I had a few more!

My New Favorite Miniature Art Quilt

The Roaring Branch along Kelly Stand Road in Vermont.
Inspired by our wonderful times at the river before
Tropical Storm Irene came through on August 28, 2011
and caused extensive damage to the road and the river.
