Making old dry wooden dollhouse furniture look even better!

I just got a group of the FORBES Blonde 3/4" large wood items in from CANADA and they are so so dry.....some pieces the glue gave way so I have fixed everything..no breaks just separations...but I was wondering what the best oil or ? was to put on them??? It is a lovely lot of tons and I would like to make them look better before photographing and selling.

Ideas would be appreciated!

I will post photos of before and after!! I hope!

  2. Glennda told me..I got some that was scratched and dry. Put Old English on them and was like a miracle. Doesn't even look like the same furniture. That was months ago and still look fab!

  3. Paste wax would also be a help. You can get it in the local hardware store and is suggested for large furniture, so it should be good for our small stuff.

  6. Mom said..."Hi I would definitely use Tung oil....there is some in the cupboard by my door in the garage... I would just lightly rub it on them and let them sit." Thanks MOM!

  7. A dollhouse with a kitchen and bedroom is far less exciting than a dollhouse that contains a porch, attic, bathroom, playroom, living room, and den. The more rooms that there are in the dollhouse, the more your child can pretend more interesting stories are happening to her dolls.
