Rare Pennsylvania Dutch RENWAL Pieces.

In the 1950's RENWAL produced dollhouse pieces 

specifically for Cross & Blackwell's product promotions.

The Pennsylvania Dutch Styled design was used.

With a label from their soup or canned date and 

nut roll you could

purchase an item for 35 cents! WOW.

The February 1955 edition of Better Homes & Gardens

had the full advertisement from

Crosse & Blackwell.

Making old dry wooden dollhouse furniture look even better!

I just got a group of the FORBES Blonde 3/4" large wood items in from CANADA and they are so so dry.....some pieces the glue gave way so I have fixed everything..no breaks just separations...but I was wondering what the best oil or ? was to put on them??? It is a lovely lot of tons and I would like to make them look better before photographing and selling.

Ideas would be appreciated!

I will post photos of before and after!! I hope!

I am very excited to start this blog! As many of you know I have a website called Suebee's Miniatures at suebeesminiatures.webs.com. It has a built in BLOG but is is not a regular blog that will tell you when someone posted on it. So I wanted to open this up so that others can write and share what they are thinking.
